Shades Of People
Lately there has been a slight chill in the air, the sun has been setting sooner and the mosquitoes are quietly easing off. The back to school frenzy has begun and the last week of August is kicking off. With Labour Day around the corner, the question of being able to wear white after the 7th of September lingers. Wearing white, according to some, was more for comfort than anything else, acting as a reflection to sunlight and the midday summer heat. Historically as the cold weather began the need to wear white would disappear as the cost of keeping white clean was higher without personal washing machines or a laundromat down the street. Today, with the acceptance of self expression and easy cleaning make wearing white after Labor Day entirely possible and a respectable color to wear year round.
