Shades Of People

Unlike using the smudge tool in photoshop or applying a finger to a charcoal drawing, using sage to smudge a person, room or object is a traditional technique used to clean away bad juju and restore balance. A sacred, yet simple exercise, that is best done slowly, smudging requires minimal supplies and only takes a couple moments. Start by lighting a sage wand and simply moving it through a home, over a person or an object, using circular motions to make sure the smoke touches all the hard to reach places. Sage has a soft earthy scent with a hint of lemon that can leave anything from your shoes to your home smelling and feeling clean and refreshed.
